Aster L
Trying to describe Aster L’s music is as hard as it comes, with mixtures of pop, rock, prog-rock and even dance there’s one thing for certain the melodic vocals and the hooks will keep you ‘hooked’ for hours after first hearing one of Aster L’s tracks. I guess it’s like Marmite?!
Upon hearing the demo for ‘ending in Hollywood’ and the preview of the upcoming single ‘Skyscraper’, I was instantly captured. What sets him apart from other pop-punk/indie/rock bands is that he can’t be pigeon holed, that and the fact he doesn’t have a fake whiny American accent, yes he is actually from California!

I fell instantly in love with this track as soon as the music kicked in, his deep voice juxtaposes perfectly next to the high guitar and when it meets us the keyboard too, making you feel like you are enjoying two different pieces that intertwine perfectly. It is as soothing as a lullaby yet as punchy a prodigy track, combining both elements of a good song, the ballad (a sing-along) and the beats (a dance)
